I heard Pryor did just fine with the same crappy OL and WR's Flynn had. Makes sense...Pryor can scramble.

What a bad situation to land in.

I like to think there was a better offer on the table, and instead JS and Pete took the Raiders trade, while giggleing like Beavis and Butthead.

After Pete made his crack about how they should have hit Charlie more in that game, I get the feeling Pete is one to hold a grudge. Check, I know that, he still hates Harbs.

Pryor sucks and yet he looked better than Flynn with the same OL and receivers. If Flynn loses out again, I think you can say that's a wrap on the idea of him ever being an elite starter in this league.

Unless Pryor absolutely stinks against us on Thursday, hard to see Flynn starting in Oakland.

Pryor is a bit like their version of Tjack. Inconsistent and typically mediocre, but when he's on he can look great.

Flynn is just standing there and moves little. May as well wear sign that says hit me. No way he lasts a season in Oakland before he is injured.

Flynn has reportedly come down with the ever mysterious "elbow tendonitis" yet again and will not play in Seattle. Pryor will start. How crazy would it be if Pryor won the job and this came full circle for Flynn while in Seattle?

Flynn should be thankful. With that oline, he would be in a wheelchair by his 50th birthday. Pryor will look good for awhile, then as the oline starts to come together, Terrelle will falter and Flynn will come in looking like a star. Whereupon, they will trade him to Arizona in a Kolbesque deal and both teams will suck for 3 more years!

Arizona learned their lesson on young backup QBs being signed for big money. They'll roll out the Brinks truck for a proven winner like Jay Cutler. :sarcasm_off:

It's looking like Flynn's arm soreness will doom him to being a career backup. Even if he was another Matt Ryan or Matt Hasselbeck or Matt Schaub, if you can't get through a couple weeks without your arm falling off, you can't be counted on to start 16+ games.

Another Matt Ryan? Ryan is arguably a top 5 QB in this league. Flynn's ceiling was never that high.

And Flynn's arm ain't sore.

Wait. The T-Jack haters love Flynn.

I think a lot of the T-Jack "hater" stuff came from many who didn't want him to start. He's one of the best backups in the league, and would start in a lot of places, including Oakland.

Flynn is proving a lot of us right who doubted his ability to start in the league based on a couple of great games as a pinch hitting backup on great teams.
