1-2, unfortunately. Not sure what is wrong with this team on the road, but they find new ways to lose games over and over again. The opposite at home.

Our lineup is pretty tough to bear now. If our lead continues to shrink down to a few games or so by the all star break, the concern is going to ratchet up pretty fast.

I have little idea what they're thinking about in terms of trade. Probably another bull pen arm. Possibly a significant bat from somewhere. But if they're seeking quality, it's going to cost them.

If they do make a significant move or two, however, I hope doesn't come down to the final days, or even hours from the deadline.

This FO is awful at evaluating bats that work here. The sad part is it's obvious stuff. Like don't sign a guy that was a career average to below average hitter and had his best year in a hitters park (Garver). Or don't bite on big numbers from a guy coming from a band box park (Winker). Those decisions aren't that difficult even for a novice but somehow allude our trader Jerry...

They've been great at finding pitching. But that's the easy part here with this ballpark. Not to totally take away from that because they've been better than expected there. However, with their current strategy of developing pitching and trading for hitting (or trying to sign in free agency which is a joke) they have to be MUCH stronger in identifying that.

Yep. Karma works its way. They gave up on Cabby last year when he would have been a better option over other dudes. He basically wins the game for Rays tonight with a great at-bat and good base running right there at the end.

When the Ms only have 3 hits and the team is demoralized because the hottest hitters aren't playing, that's the kind of stuff that gets magnified. You get what you put out there. Amazing how it's almost July and theyre somehow making the top half of the line up worse. This is proven by stats. The Ms put out the worst top 4 line up tonight out of every team. How do you expect to win...?
