Get this when it it all works out

Hawks trade clark for a 1ss rnd pick. Clark gets paid 21 million a year

Hawks draft Collier, Barton. And have a 2nd next year.

Hawks sign ziggy for 9 million.

Hawks trade a 3rd pick to Texans and Martin for clowney. Teams agree to split salary. 8.5 mill a piece

Hawks will get the 3rd pick back if clowney walks.

So hawks in theory traded Clark for even salary cap implications for Collier, barton, ziggy and clowney and a 2nd rnd pick.

Add loss of Martin

Mingo was getting cut so I am excluding him. Martin has upside

Collier and Barton likely have more upside.

So, question.

If the Seahawks win the Superbowl, does Bill O'Brien win executive of the year?

I gotta wonder if Schneider has compromising photos of some Texan's brass given our recent fleecing of their roster Brown and Clowney

And getting Brown was an important part, I think he recruited Clowney to want to come to Seattle.

You can't really consider the Brown trade a "fleecing", at least not compared to the Clowney deal. For Brown we sent the Texans a #2 and a #5 draft picks plus Jeremy Lane. Brown was 32 at the time, Clowney's 26.
