Sure, he may be a deep threat, but the guy is a big prima donna baby. One game with Miami, and he's crying about not getting the ball enough. Oh, yeah, and the worst part about it: his team WON. Talk about not being a team player. Although most of us already knew this.

Wallace had one reception for 15 yards in his Miami debut, a 23-10 victory. He was targeted five times by quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

"I don't feel like talking," Wallace told the Miami Herald while on his way out of the locker room.

When another reporter pressed Wallace by asking about the game plan, the receiver said, "I don't feel like talking about it. Ask Coach."

The Herald said Wallace was visibly angry immediately after the game and was escorted off the field by Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland.

I am sure deep down a lot of guys would have felt the same. He wanted to put on a great performance and talked all off-season about how he is the greatest and so on. But he also needs to realize that he has gotten his money that he so desperately wanted, and if anything... the front office is ecstatic about the RESULT. He opened things up for Hartline and others. By doing so, he is setting other teams up to have to cover those guys and it will have to pull doubles off of him, and he will get his numbers. Being a baby about it does nothing.

His team won, and his five targets helped keep the defense honest, and the Dolphins were extremely intelligent in how they used him today. This is exactly what they wanted Brandon Marshall to do for them (and instead he cried too). Jeff Ireland took him off the field, and I guarantee Jeff was pointing out that Mike was a big reason they won, and he needs to stop looking at the stats and start looking at results. The combo of him and Tannehill could be pretty lethal. It will take time though.

Good thing he isn't here. I wanted to sign him... but can't imagine how he'd have reacted after today when Doug Baldwin got targeted and Kearse got the TD. He'd probably be angry about that. Russell is a smart QB and will hit the guy that's open. As long as Wallace is doubled and tripled then somebody else is going to be singled or if they are doubling him up and zoning, then there is going to be pockets and seams. A smart QB will find him when he gets his chances, but not forcing the ball to him because he gets paid more or is going to pout isn't the way to go.

I can remember Terrell Owens pulling this stuff, but it was at least usually in a loss, where he felt that if he had the ball they'd have had a better chance of winning (and he was probably right). But to win and do this? Silly.

Orlando, FL...for good.
Shark, I don't blame any player for FEELING that way, but I sure as hell blame them for publicly whining about it and visibly looking that way to the fans, their teammates, etc.

Go cry while swimming through your Scrooge McDuck vault filled with cash from your new deal, Wallace. :)

Why complain about personal accomplishments when the team wins...

I personally never wanted him the moment I heard he wanted Larry Fitz dollars
