It's been a few days since we've had a skip bayless threads. This place feels so empty without one that it pains me.

Stephen Smith's face when Skip says the Redskins should be #3 made me laugh out loud.

God, I love Bayless. I get that Harvin is a loss, but the rest of our WR's are sub par at best...and that losing Crabtree isn't even a factor? And the Pats should be #2 because Danny Amandola is allegedly an upgrade over Welker and that Brady can somehow play in the secondary? I swear, I know Bayless does this for a living, but does he have a shred of dignity?

I'd say it looked like he just heard someone shart their pants, but I'd be stating the obvious when all that comes out of Skip's mouth is 'crap'.

Edit: After restarting it, I realize Skip was hyping the Pats (Skip's team besides the Redskins in this segment) and even failed to name ZACH Sudfeld when talking about the team, instead calling him "Josh".

Clown.

I dont have any problem with any ranking that has SF, ATL and Sea 1,2,3. I think all 3 of those teams are about equal and are the best in the NFL. I would be shocked if one of those teams doesnt win the superbowl.

I would say we have one of if not THE best defense in the entire league. Certainly the best secondary.
On offense the running game is easily top 5 and it seemed like the last half of the season the passing game was a top 10 unit.
Homefield advantage is the best in the NFL and 8-0 at home is very likely again. At the bare minimum I wouldnt expect less than a 6-2 record at home
I think we can go .500 on the road and combined with homefield SHOULD equal at least 10 wins.

As far as the WR cores. I think seattles is one of the best in the league, I dont know what they are smoking. Rice is a solid 1. Tate looks like he is moving into #1 territory. Baldwin is money and if he can return to his rookie year he is very solid as a 3. Kearse looks like he can finally catch and if so he looks to be a great 2 or 3. And williams in the preseason was a great long threat. This isnt even bringing up the fact Harvin will most likely be joining the team as well.

Rice
Harvin
Tate
Baldwin
Kearse
Williams

Rice, Harvin and Tate all seem to be #1 type WRs. You could argue maybe borderline 1/2 but still even if that is the case we have 3 of those guys. Then you bring in Baldwin and Kearse which seem to be VERY VERY solid so far and I think our unit is not only good but very deep.

The fact that the loss of Crabtree doesn't factor into the 49ers rankings is what makes me think both of these guys are off their rocker.

Harvin knocks the Seahawks down the pole, but losing Crabtree suddenly makes the 49ers "vastly improved"?

I really don't understand the logic these guys use. So SF is going to be better than last year DESPITE LOSING- Safety Goldson, Issac Sapuago (sp??) as well as Delanie Walker and not to mention Michael Crabtree for most of the year.

Bolden, Gore and Smith are another year older and both have played a ton the last few years. I think SF has the weakest WRing corps in the NFC West. but SOMEHOW Seattle has the "Below average" WR group. Doesn't make sense. Seattle WR's group is much deeper and has been more productive than what SF has. Bolden Isn't running away from anyone, Vernon Davis is great but who do they have after that? A bunch of no-body's, a guy coming off injury in Kyle Williams and a 1st round bust in Jon Baldwin (who is listed #3 on their depth chart).

I'd pay top dollar to punch Skip Bayless in the face. Not because he hates Seattle, just because he's a total douche!

Skip does this for us, the 12th man. On the show with Danny Kanell, Skip says no other fan base has made his life as unbearable on Twitter as Seahawks fans. He said he can't even scroll through his timeline because there's so many comments from us. What he's really saying is: "Keep the hits coming! The more I get from you guys, the more I get paid."

I refuse to listen to Skip Bayless. I wouldn't dignify his ramblings by calling them "thoughts".

OP, I think your title is deceptive. Mods?

I fill out the mods checks so they only take orders from me.

Hilarious they pay this guy:

1. 17th ranked O last year. Yes, true. And after the robot got out of beta mode and into production, best in the league.

2. Harvin. Like someone said, Crabtree missing doesn't effect the Niners at all, but our "subpar at best" WR crew comes back intact? WTF?

3. Robot slump? And of ALL the young QBs the robot is the one to take a step BACK? Sure...uh huh.

Oh so hilarious!
