So the offensive line will just go, 'Oh wow, coach benched Geno. Now I'll play well!'

Players have pride and if they see the coach sitting the main leader, someone is going to take notice. If they don’t do anything, this crap will continue

Dude, it's not about pride. Our offensive line isn't good. That's not going to signal to anyone, anything except that we're done with this game.

We aren't out of the playoff hunt yet. I know people in this sub-forum think every loss immediately means 'season's over', but that's not how a good coaching staff works.
