I’m ok with a Sam Howell experiment at this point. I was expecting 8-9 this season. We’re half way

I remember a year called the Terrible Twos, mid 80's I think. I predicted this year will be called the Terrible threes. They did break the pattern, should be win number 4 today. At the end of today they will be 4-4.. I figure they will end up 8-9 most likely. Trade Geno now, and they can finish 7-10 and get a great QB.. at least better players.

No but the rebuild has to start somewhere and Geno ain’t it …read the previous post above that one I did as I know it’s not just the qb , but hopefully we get a high enough pick in the draft to get one is all I’m saying …

People really, really underestimate what the problem with our OL means for this team.

Like, this is fundamental. Derek Carr looked like the BEST QB in the NFL for two weeks, an injury or two on his OL, and he looks like one of the worst and then got injured on top of it.

I don't know what the plan/solution is this year (if there even is one), but if we draft a QBOTF and he plays behind this line, he'll be declared a bust before his career even starts.

Losing and building a team before you get a YOUNG AND MOBILE QB is the key to success. Our roster sucks, it will take 2 more years, and Geno is NOT THE FUTURE... he is a waste of cap space. TRADE HIM. If we don't trade him before the deadline, he will go FA or take up to 80 MIL a season... HE IS NOT THE GUY

And then he passes it 54 times against 8 rushes, most of those plays in garbage time, while the defense gives up 470 yards.

Performative, random changes don't work. These guys know each other.

While JS wasn't around for Mirer he is the type of choice JS would make so we have to fire JS first.
