LOL Roddy gets a good zinger in at the end, "Oh he talked his way into being All Pro."

I hope Sherman pipes up about that! Talked his way in; yeah, right. He only had the best stats of any CB in the league for 2012, and by a pretty comfortable margin when factoring EVERYTHING in.

Sherm is an All-Pro player, ranking him one of the best conerbacks in the league.

Sherm has not only gotten under certain players skin, but Hawks fans too.

Two - Five....keep doing what you do. You are one of the best in the league.

It was funny to be honest but not the best move for Roddy. As I said just pure bulletin board material.

Sherman is just absolutely brilliant.

I mean when he was named at #50, it was all about Sherman. White gets named #39 and all that people are talking about and interviewing after the fact is Sherman. Every time Roddy gets interviewed by NFLN/ESPN, it's going to be relative to Sherman. Roddy is Richard's personal hype platform. Even when Roddy talks about how he doesn't fear Sherman, he sounds like a little brother talking smack to a big brother.

Roddy is a walking Sherman advertisement.

There's a side of that absolutely LOVES what Sherm is doing... but there's also another side of me that thinks... enough is enough.

There is a law of diminishing returns on flapping your jaw too much... people. stop. listening.

Sherm is on the precipice of that happening, even for some of us Hawk fans.

I love the guy but think it's time for him to politely decline more interviews of this type.

It would be hilarious if Sherman just replied with a simple "White played his way OUT of being All Pro" What is White even gonna do after that? Cry more?

It was Roddy White's interview.

Sherman has stayed pretty quiet recently. Also the media doesn't have a diminishing return on chatter. They love chatter more than most anything and the media is what matters for publicity.

Personally as I've said many times I would prefer Sherm to ease up sometimes, but I don't think its particularly harmful, and it sure is entertaining. Just want to stay away from Skip Bayless style interviews, no matter how awesome that was.

That's what it was. Champ must model his game after Kelly Jennings! Yeah! That's it!!

Some day we're going to find out that the NFL off season operates like the WWE. Roddy White vs. Sherman? That's our ongoing storyline gentlemen. (And then we find out in real life they're good friends or something of that nature.)

Sherm actually had deep third on that play, he got burned, bad. Then to come out and dis Roddy? Sherm would look better by praising Roddy, saying something like "if he beat me, he must be good." Instead he comes off like a punk, as is becoming far too common for my tastes. Sherm isn't in Roddy's head. Roddy took him to school, as he does every corner in the league on nearly a weekly basis. Roddy truly believes in his soul that none of Sherm, nor any other corners in the league can stop him. Sherm is in his head? Be real. Roddy is in Sherm's head.

Atlanta is going to make a point to beat Sherm deep again, which is probably exactly what Sherm is hoping for. Just be careful what you wish for Sherm, Atlanta's deep game is just about as good as it gets. Get cute out there and they'll make you pay. Love Sherm, love his game, but he's crossing that line between funny and embarrassing.

since when is 1 catch "taking a guy to school?" Maybe your definition is different to mine. Mine would be if thoroghly dominating the action for an entire game. Getting 1 big catch when the safety failed to get over the top is hardly that. Now if he racked up 7 catches for 100+ yards all with Sherman on him, than you could say he "took him to school." Sherman had a good game against ATL, he just was partially responsible for the TD catch. just as Wilson had a good game even though he threw an INT to end the game.

I'd say the blame falls more on Chancellor for not getting over the top. Similarly no one really gives the Denver CB grief for that blown play, no all we hear is that it was Rahim Moore's error for not making the play over the top that cost Denver the game against Baltimore.

Yep.

How do you know when a CB is good, really good? The wide receiver and fans celebrate making 1 catch against him.

He made one good play and they bring it up over and over.

Sherman owned White on all but one play they had against each other that game and in fact Kam was late coming over the top in a coverage which would have worked on that play had he been in time.

I don't think Sherm was taken to school at all by White and getting beat occasionally as a CB is fact of life. Sherm doesn't get beat often though. Frankly this just all so much chatter anyway as both has a 'thing' about the other guy. If Seattle played Atl. more often we'd know the answer of who is better but I'd not bet against Sherman.

That's cool. We just see things differently.

Likely because I'm an old fart and you're not.

We grew up with different values and norms.
