Top 2, Dylan Moore with a 3 run dinger over the Green Monster. (y) 3-0 M's.

But this is Fenway, it's probably not enough.

2 out, Frazier walk, scores from 1st on a double by Ty France. 4-0.

Mills comes in bottom 7 and throws 8 consecutive balls to walk in run 7 for the Sox. 🤦‍♂️

Then he hits a batter to score another.

M's no scoring since top 2.

Man, the bullpen took one on the chin today.
The bats finally show up, but the pitching lets the team down.

One day they'll have both pitching and hitting do well in the same game

Well, 5 runs just ain't enough at Fenway any way you look at it. Got off to a decent start, but all those blank innings in the middle of the game killed us.

Not impressed with Ray so far. Just gave up a grand slam. How did this guy win the CY Young award last year?

He cruises and then has one really awful inning.

Not exactly sure how he won the cy young as he really only throws two pitches and doesn’t throw that hard. And it’s not like he pitched against cupcakes last year, he was in the AL East. Looks like Toronto may have made the right decision going with Gausman instead of Ray.

Still a lot of season left but he hasn’t looked like an ace. Going by numbers he is like our fourth best starting pitcher.

Ray gets a lot of K's though. IIRC he led the AL last year. And he eats innings. He generally gets 5-6 innings minimum.
