Penn Murfee is looking like a keeper.

Ray gets a lot of K's though. IIRC he led the AL last year. And he eats innings. He generally gets 5-6 innings minimum.

His K’s per 9 innings is still down. I think the last couple years he was around 12 K’s per 9 innings. This year he is basically at 1K per inning. Not a huge difference but it’s a drop off.

Flexen tomorrow. Day game. 12:30 pre-game. 1:05 first pitch.

First pitch coming up in about 10 minutes. Geez, do you think we can score some runs for Flexen?

No lead is safe in Fenway. Flex was going pretty smooth til the 5th. 4 consecutive hits 2 runs before he's lifted for Romo.

And we're tied at 5-5, just like that.

Flex was missing in the strike zone (see BP pitches right down the middle) and then compounded the problem by nibbling and then started missing in the zone again and paid the price

Therein lies the problem. They don’t add on consistently. A sign of a bad offense.

Looks like Julio has figured out though 3 hits so far.

This team is bad.

They can’t hit for a full 9 innings. We scored 5 quick runs then did nothing for nearly the entire game.

The bullpen is continuing to regress.

Not sure what Dipoto will do if this continues into June. Does he sell off some of the established guys for prospects?

I honestly don’t even know what to make of this team anymore, think I’m going to take a break on them.

4 game sweep, and losing on a walk off grand slam. F this team. Fire Servais and Dipoto. Dumpster fire

Munoz throws his slider way too much. He throws 101 mph.

Make them catch up to that pitch. I knew a slider was coming, the hitter did too.

This team isn’t only lack of talent and coaching, they are also stupid AF.

That was depressing. We finally have a team that can put up more than one run of offense, and, it doesn't seem to matter.
