I think it's telling that the only 2 years he played over 50% of his teams snaps he collected 8.5 and 8 sacks. Looking forward to what he can do as a starter.

I'm not sue Hyder is a de facto starter but a key rotational piece. I think our DL is going to be the equivalent of RB by committee.

I see Poona, Mone and Woods as run stoppers. Collier, Green and Hyder as 5 Techs that slide inside on passing downs. Dunlap as starting LEO with Taylor, Mayowa, Robinson coming in as pass rush specialists. I can certianly see some NASCAR formations to with Hyder/Green as the Tackles and Dunlap/Mayowa as rush ends. Hopefully Collier, Robinson and Taylor take some reps in pass rush too.

And that's not even considering Aldon Smith whose status remains uncertain.

The pass rush is a depth position with a ton of good not great options. but even good guys can shine if fresh come the fourth quarter.

I think Pete is counting on fresh legs in 4th, I would like a fresh leg in-condition Aldon Smith in last 5 games of the season.
