Can’t officially sign yet. Only agreed to a deal. Can’t sign until Wednesday and let’s not forget until it’s signed players are still technically free to hear other offers. It doesn’t happen often but has happened where a player changes his mind between agreement and signing.

"Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold reached agreement today on a three-year, $110.5 million contract including $55 million guaranteed with the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has its successor to Geno Smith.

Don’t disagree. I don’t really think there is anything really special available at qb right now. I’d say they are likely fairly even and Geno wanted a big raise.
