"I'm mixed, man. I got a little bit of everything. But mostly African-American. Got some Native American in me. I have some distant, distant relatives in far far places." -- Russell Wilson

He and Baldwin, who has also stated his multi-ethnic background, share a laugh about it.

Take it from the man himself and move along, peeps.

Thanks, that was quote I was talking about.

I apologize for mentioning race if it offended anyone. I was speaking merely from a marketing perspective. "Diversity" is something factored into marketing. I'm actually quantifying the diversity of a clients customer base, this week. Diversity is something I always capture and report to my clients.

I apologize, again.

And yet another thread gets sent blindly careening into impropriety for sake of the thin skinned. FWIW I knew what you meant Pe!

Wilson will be an icon in this sport for a long time to come!

Well not that it matters at all but his dad is clearly bi-racial.

So Russell is tri-racial??

I think its time we all stopped talking about races period. What the hell does it have to do with football. And here some of you are on the main forum talking about "race".

In the early 1960's, in college, I learned that 95+% of the black race in America is mixed. I'm pretty sure that hasn't changed much. Most, if not all of us are of mixed ancestry. In these modern days IMO race is really irrelevant, I'd love to have DangeRuss as a son-in-law any day, he's just such a super young man as well as an exceptional QB.

As Seahawk fans we are really, really, really lucky to be able to watch this young man develop into a top level QB.
Go Hawks.

Ok, Ok. We can all agree that the season is a marathon and not a sprint and leave it at that.

I believe I said something to that effect some months back. Feels good to be right.

Clearly he means me though.

Good point, Les.

In fact, I'm so committed to race being a taboot topic, I just told my client I will NOT capture their diversity distribution %'s. They can hire someone else.
