HaHa...That was fun to watch. Russ 'finally' wasn't a robot in that response.

Watching DangeRuss is watching a champion.
Here is the translation: "It was a great game, playing a great champion in Peyton Manning and we won. Of course we won. They did well to make us win it in the end like the champions we are."

He says this in a way that is not in-your-face cocky. It's said with the mindset that we know what it takes to be champions and we are. And no one can argue it.

This is a third year player that compliments other great quarterbacks after beating them. You don't get to see great NFL players very often. We are truly blessed by being able to watch this man take it to a higher level every week. I feel greatly fortunate to have been able to watch Brett Favre grow up into one of the greats in the NFL. Say what you want about how long it took him to give up the game, but watching him week after week, you just don't think about how special that is. (For me, it was a smooth transition from being a life-long packer fan to moving west and rooting for the Hawks as I did it right after Holmgren moved to Seattle. )

To watch RW week after week, I think we are truly blessed to see one (barring disastrous injury) who will be an NFL icon.

The Seahawks iphone app (probably available on other platforms) is pretty awesome. I highly recommend it. You can get a lot of the pressers on the app, for this game including Russ's full post-press (10 minutes) and Coach PC full post-press (10 minutes). This is where I heard Russ's post-press with the fumble battle and it was pretty dang funny.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Russ is respected as a person by other teams' defenses? That while it's about winning, it's also about good competition?

Judging by the way the crowd was getting pissed while watching the scene unfold, had it gone on much longer, I am reasonably certain Demarcus Ware would have had a mob of angry 12's whooping his ass. I have to say Russ handled that question like a class act, but it was obvious in how he came up swinging at Ware that he wasn't happy about the way things went down in that fumble scrum. I felt that Ware should've been given an unnecessary roughness call on that play.

Wilson has managed to win a Super Bowl with a offensive line thats was one of the worst pass blocking lines in the league that year, with two receivers that were UDFA and another that had only played in a couple quarters all season, with a RB that was held to 39 yds rushing.

Yes he has a good defense supporting him, but the Broncos were the best offense ever.

Thanks for this. Only problem was that I had to suffer through 15 seconds of a freakin' Peyton Manning commercial before getting to watch the video.

Seahawks iPhone App !!! (I'm guessing available on other smartphones too)

Free!
No commercials!

Also an interesting bit in his press conference, he talks about the pick he threw and his thought process about why he threw the ball and realized it would be a pick.

So it should be called a smartphone app instead of an iPhone app...

I kinda wonder the mechanics of how to get the players away from the ball from a ref point of view. Whenever I played and recovered a fumble, I basically hung on to it until someone pulled me off the ground. How do the players trust that the guy yelling in their ear "blue ball let it go let it go!" is not a reeeeaaaally sneaky? Do the refs show their sleve in the players face as proof?
