Walker has breakaway speed and he makes some would-be tacklers miss, but the rest of his game is sub-par. Even as a pure runner he's not special when it comes to breaking tackles or converting short-yardage situations. It's hard to win with such a player at RB1. I think his FA value will be low in March 2026.

Yes...as someone said. Last year of the rookie contract. This is his money year where he will break records to get that biggo contract. It is what rookies do.

I don't think anyone is saying Charbs is the better back. K9 is clearly the more talented runner. It's just that Charbs style of one cut and go compared to K9 who will dance behind his line then try to spring it outside, is much better suited for the type of wide zone offense our new OC is implementing. You don't run a Ferrari through the mud just because it's a badass car.
Plenty of people think he is. And that's fine. Even if it's not true 🤣🤣🤣

I'm not entirely sold on K9, don't think he's special in anyway. He's a good starter, but he's only ever shown flashes. Not sure I trust him to get crucial yards with the game winding down.

Can he carry this team when the game plan calls for it? I say no.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, as the offense has sucked big old b@ll$ since he got here. He just seems like an average NFL back, he gives me Turbin/Rawls vibes. Replaceable production across the board, I'd give him low end starter money, but he wouldn't be getting any kind of raise with a new contract.

I don’t think I’ve encountered one single person on .net or in person that doesn’t agree that the o line is bad and is in need of rebuilding. Then we have a thread with folks stating emphatically that K9 is nothing special and has only shown occasional bursts. His vision sucks, Charbs is a better fit for scheme, …
Fix the line and watch him take off! Hard for any back to operate effectively behind a line ranked in the bottom 5.

F' it! let's get entirely unhinged, trade away Geno, DK, KW3, and while we're on a roll, JSN too. Oh, you don't think JSN should be traded? Wait a little while, someone will throw some click bait out there and then boredom will convince us it's a damn good idea...

Or unlike Grubb, realize that your line is shit and start running some outside motion stuff.

If you can get a decent pick back I’d trade him. Worst case scenario is he has an all pro season and we sign him to a huge contract. There’s exceptions but RB’s are risky because they’re always injured and because of that they don’t last long . Plus the difference between the 10th best running back and the 20th best is pretty minimal. Everyone knows o line is way more relevant to success when running the ball. I’d rather get a pick for the rebuild

Just seems like 'selling low', imo. I'd rather keep him and see how things develop. You need a stable of RBs, and contingencies should be covered with Charbs, MacIntosh and a rookie or two.
