Anybody feelin' this?
I felt like every time the Seahawks came up with a big-play, they would put Turbin in a short-yardage situation and he would instantly kill the drive.
I honestly don't see what Bevell, Cable, and Smith see in Turbin to continue to give him important carries against a dominating front 7. Turbin, to me is a RB that can exploit defenses with a functional O-line not one who is going to be successful behind a bad one (See reference to Julius Jones).
And I don't understand why Michael keeps riding the bench. He's probably the most explosive player on the team and like Marshawn Lynch, Michael has improvisational play-making ability that teams can't game plan for. You don't need to pass-block, to run the ball.
IMO, a Lynch and Michael tandem could have broken open this past game much earlier.
Dear Seahawks, don't become the 49ers (LeMichael James), give some carries to your young athletic play-maker and get him some real experience. You're letting Derrick Coleman learn by trial and error. Get Michael some carries and quit acting like Turbin is a more capable player than what he has shown in the bulk of his carries.
