Actually, I kind of like it. Nobody is talking about Russell "first time in the Super Bowl" Wilson, or Peyton "this may be his last chance at a ring" Manning. Sherm has deflected a lot of the media pressure of this game off of his teammates and taken it on himself.

Although I don't think it was Sherm's intentions, and if Crabtree shakes his hand none of this happens, this has helped take all the pressure off the 2nd year QB playing against a legend.

Right now, Sherm is getting press, and everyone is focused on a post-game interview.

Meanwhile, Russell Wilson is being the nerd he is, in the film room, in the training room, on the practice field, with his offense, prepping like its any other game.

hahaha D. Revis is a hater you know its messing with him all the success R. Sherman has had this year. I bet that last play in the NFCCG really got under his skin but i think its funny. The best way to get back at a hater is through Success becuase you know they hating.

Yesterday, during his interview at the Pro-bowl (crap) festivities, Shady McCoy called Revis "the BEST CB in the league". Emphasizing the word best. Forget who was conducting the interview but he said "that's not what I heard (referring to Sherm)". And Revis said something like "yeah, whatever" and McCoy said "you heard wrong". To Revis' credit, he resisted the urge to say more and was very professional despite McCoy stirrin' it up.

On the subject...right when you thought the Probowl couldn't get more sickening, they pull this "draft" crap with the egomaniacal Rice and Sanders (who is less of one). These all stars were stuck waiting to hear their names called and I felt they, like myself, felt the whole thins was very demeaning. I didn't like Rice before, can't stand him now. He was dead serious and acting like some big time GM. One player that he didn't select said "you were the best receiver, worst GM (jokingly) and Rice fired back with "that's why you're not on my team"....as though that made sense. We use to go every year in the 80s and 90s, now I don't know anybody that will attend the game.

Revis waited till the press started to bandwagon to jump in and throw a sucker punch at Sherman, he then waited until after Lovie Smith was hired to throw a sucker punch at Schiano. who is the one with less class.
