there needs to be some sort of rule or replay system for "judgement calls" that can be overturned if they are clearly wrong. I'm really starting to hate watching football games b/c of B.S calls.

Wow that's just about as bad as the 12 men in the huddle when we were against the Colts. Completely made up calls.

Okay, I don't follow football enough to know players anymore so I assumed Keenan Allen was the defender. Then based on some of the comments I decided to google it for sure. Offensive pass interference? Seriously? I knew they were tightening up the rules on what defenders could do, but offensive? Seriously?

The officiating in the NFL is and has pretty much always been, terrible. Unless it causes a loss of TV ratings and thus MONEY, it will never change. Sadly.

Somebody should start a petition to get the NFL to penalize them for calls like this. A slap on the wrist obviously isn't doing any good.

I don't think the officiating in the NFL is terrible. I just think it's a ridiculously hard game to officiate. Maybe the hardest.

Compared to the NBA I think the officiating is good. I mean, the whole basis of sports is to have an equal opportunity to win on an equal playing field with equal adjudication. In the NBA it is basically just accepted that the game is not adjudicated equally. Superstar calls are literally an accepted part of the game. That's insane.
