Big Red: “they didn’t pay me to be a pass-rusher. They paid me to be a run-stopper and be disruptive, and that’s what I’m good at. … I think it will allow me to get push up the middle.’’

Building block number one. That push up the middle is what IMO was our biggest weakness last season. I'm optomistic and if Red and the boys get that done this year.... Holy Chit!

If he wasn't sleeping well last year, plus plantar facciitis, those two factors being non factors is bad news for o lines

i have sleep apnea, too. I can surely testify what a huge difference a CPAP makes. I'll be interested to watch how it goes for him.

Sleep apnea and a newborn? That's a rough night.

Let's be honest here... He wasn't sleeping well because it's very hard to get to sleep on a full stomach. Dude eats too much, doesn't exercise, thus ends up lethargic with bizarre sleeping patterns.

Sleep apnea my ass.

This is an interesting comment. Was it a joke or do you have some information on Red's personal life?

My CPAP made a huge difference in my life as well.

“One of the things with Red is that he is long,’’ Quinn said. “He’s 6-5 and he’s got 36-inch arms, so that’s long for any player. So he can get his hands on you and then use his hands for space to move guys. … He can take on more than one blocker, so a lot of times you’ll see a linebacker come through and it might have been where (Bryant) could take on two (blockers).’’

You need to remember CAN. More than 50% of the current board was from a time prior to Red's first year when Dom was the cheerleader of the anti-cornbread movement.

Red is to Dom what Colin Cole was to me. I hated that fat bastard. Red's cool though...

If Quinn is happy, I am happy. This is the area in the largest need, and I like the way it was addressed on so many levels.

I'm fairly confident that we will be much better up front defensively.

I heard it on the Internet so it must be true. Is Red Bryant married to Jacob Green's daughter, for real ? Also I think if he spends more time over the tackle, I think this plays more to his strengths and he shine much brighter this year. I watch him very close as he went to high school close to where I live. I am a R.B. fan.

This has me a little worried. Red struggled with getting low and that made it easier for tackles and guards to get underneath him and gain leverage. I trust Quinn as he is the one that recognized it and moved him to DE where he has been a force. Hopefully he is ready to move back inside. I have always rooted for him and believe if he has learned to get lower of found another way to combat the bigger interior lineman, he could be a godsend in the middle. Even if he struggles to get penetration though he will still be a force in the running game and can use that giant wingspan to knock down passes and disrupt throwing lanes.

If I am misinterpreting this some please let me know.

Based on the article in the OP, sounds to me like that's the plan. Sounded to me like RB is looking forward to the move, and if he is healthy and HAPPY, sit back and enjoy the show, it's gunna be good.
