Very happy to see Brooks make it. He's the most promising player I've ever seen make our PS.
Helfet over Fells is a surprise, but Seattle's coaches have done a great job in the past correcting drop issues and Helfet definitely could use some coaching in that aspect. I'm sure Seattle will do musical chairs on the PS this year again, so don't be shocked if Fells makes an appearance later.
Powell is a no-brainer. My guess is that he moves to SAM LB next season. We are jammed at LB, but Powell is too talented to not keep around.
Seymour didn't show much in the preseason but was a solid college guard who played against SEC opponents. I think Seymour is the new Moffitt.
I was a little surprised that Shead didn't make the final roster. He looks the part physically and had a good preseason. He must really be flying under the radar to not make another team's roster.
Siliga is already at his upside and is very much a fringe NFL player overall but regardless, he's a useful run clogger. Seattle has some injury worries at DT so keeping him around as emergency depth is smart.
Jared Smith improved as the preseason went along and flashed very good speed when attacking the 2nd level in the run game. I wouldn't be surprised if the Seahawks outright ditch Jeanpierre next offseason to roll with Fat Rabbit as the new backup center in a year's time.
Bryan Walters kind of surprises me. He had a solid 4th preseason game but I thought he was probably behind Clark and Ashford for the preseason as a whole.
