I saw him audible into a run and it was a whole bunch of nothing, flipped the whole play moved everyone across the field then yelled out a bunch a crap and handed off from the shotgun for no gain
But QBs aren’t responsible for audibles apparently according to some experts who are unintentionally obtuse.

We really don't know that for sure, do we? I would assume every team has different system or approach to QB audibles, and we don't know about the Macdonald protocol on this one.

So they don’t call them? Who does then? When it’s said Geno audibles out of a play who is actually doing that then?
They check into or call audibles, yes. Implement, no.
QBs get instructions every week on when to check and to what the audibles are. They will get graded weekly on whether they made the correct decisions concerning audibles. That evaluation will never include what personnel grouping was in at the time. Part of being a good coordinator is calling plays that fit your personnel groups or not playing personnel that can't handle the entire playbook for the day.

The biggest problem is our red zone offense and our key problem there is not having a running game that we believe in. The coverage gets much tighter in the red zone and if you can't or won't run the ball then you get exactly what we've seen this season.

There's room enough to spread the blame around. Geno does gets a bit too much blame; he was 17-23 yesterday and that includes the head scratching throws where he was throwing into very narrow windows. If our play action was more credible or we could run between the tackles then the QB's job becomes easier.

So they don’t put a decision into effect, which is the definition (verb form) of implement ?

I’m confused - who is putting the decision into effect then (implementing)?

It seems rather spurious and superfluous to be splitting these types of hairs on a casual fan board methinks

The word implement is lost on some

we don;t have a red zone offense or a running game because we don't have an offensive line that can push off defenders off the line of scrimmidge for this reason john schneider must be fired

The problem is everything, other than JSN. Cut everyone else, except Tyler Lockett who deserves a retirement party
