I am not getting into the stats but there is a VERY small chance Darnold starts all 17 games this year. Lock is a back up/Fill in guy... nothing more.

Mil-dogg will be starting this year and dominating. He is the exact replica of a young Russell, but faster.

Let’s see how the summer/preseason goes. Carrying three quarterbacks costs another unit a roster spot. There’s a chance Lock doesn’t make it.

I'm sure when we signed Lock, we knew we were wasting a pick on Milsuck as a condition of the bet we presumably lost. I would assume the plan is to use three roster spots on QBs, in spite of only one of them being sort of good. Not sure what position that will take from.

and he is 5'11 w/o a strong arm
Whoever thought this, hasn't watched him play. Perhaps he doesn't have the arm to show off in pro-day/ combine type settings?

I've seen roughly half of his college games.

He doesn't have quite the arm that Mahomes had, but he's no slouch. (Mahomes is my reference as the last college QB I was personally able to watch who I figured would have NFL success)

On the field, Mellott just made plays, in a very Mahomes-esque style. Nice deep ball. Solid touch passes. Outlandish throws.

Of course it's his ability to run and evade that make him such a threat. I agree, given his size, he probably shouldn't be considered for NFL QB, based on his arm talent alone. However, as a whole package, I think he is worth a late round flyer.

Maybe so, most NFL QB draftees do ultimately fail. I mean you've had a decades-long front row seat to that given Ohio State's sorry NFL QB pipeline. If you're wrong though, we all win.

Milroe and Howard were the two QBs I specifically talked about beforehand not wanting at any point in the draft.
