I can't recall the last time a Seahawks pick got as much discussion by the media(local and national) as Milroe....you would think he was our 1st rounder!
Milroe is gonna go off in preseason. It will be a ton of fun to watch him show off his athleticism against vanilla defenses. What else is going to happen once he goes off, is that we are going to see a QB controversy erupt on dot net. Then any mistake perceived or real that Darnold makes in the regular season will be amplified by the shouts for Milroe.

Well we're going to READ "shouts" for Milroe here on .NET by those who don't want Darnold at QB1 to begin with or those who still simp for Geno.

Perfect world, Darnold balls out and the kid learns on the bench. And they throw Milroe in for 7 or so plays a game. Way too much talent to leave him on the bench, esp. his running ability. Good luck tackling that guy in the open field.
That only works if he can throw the football with accuracy, that's why Lamar Jackson is so lethal. Otherwise you stack the box and you're not running against eight in the box.

Right now Milroe struggles to throw the football, hence why he went in the third round. He won't see the field.

He has a cannon for an arm and is immediately one of the fastest players in the league. Plenty of guys had "accuracy" issues coming out. Look at Lamar and Allen. They turned out just fine.

Would you like to bet that he doesn't see the field? He'll absolutely play this year. Just likely not as a starting QB, and that's fine.
No way in hell does he go 17 games w/out seeing the field at all. Stack the box all you want; you're not beating him to the corner. Kubiak knows how to use a guy like this. I've won multiple bets on dot net in the past and nobody has ever paid up. Still fun though.

It's unfair to expect Milroe to start this year or the next really but he will absolutely see the field this year with short yardage and goal to go situations.

They already said he will play 10% of the snaps

Good to see more Milroe supporters come out, for a while I thought I might be the only one.

Now, I acknowledge that we don't ultimately know how good Milroe will be, just like we didn't know how Bryce Young, Trevor Lawrence or Zach Wilson (all consensus first rounders) would turn out.

We all saw Milroe play last year, and while I admit that I saw some bad throws and questionable decisions, I disagree that he was "awful." And the potential is so obvious that it would be foolish to pass that up.

But for now, what I saw from Milroe sure seems better than first round picks like Anthony Richardson, Kenny Pickett, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, and Justin Fields.
I knew they wouldn't be much at all (highlighted)
That said, I'm not high on Milroe but he does have the traits to be very good
if he can get it right, so I'm holding off on judging him until I see what he has
learned since Bama.

I didn't watch much of either Lamar or Milroe in college but Milroe had a higher completion percentage than Lamar when you compare each of them in their last 2 years. I don't get why people don't think it is something he can improve on...like Lamar has since he came into the league. He may not work out but I am incredibly excited for the possibility that he will and would much rather take a shot on a guy like this than a "safer" pick when 3rd round picks are hit and miss anyway.

Come on. When was the last time we saw that happen?

Oh, yeah. 2012

Saying and doing are two different things. He will not see field the field on passing downs when you have Darnold. Period.
Yep, that's a big part of why the gadget QB thing (still waiting for an example of a successful team doing it) doesn't work out. When you bring the gadget out, the other team more or less knows what you're doing.
