Milroe will be QB1 by ‘27. All-Pro projection.

I absolutely love this pick…I love that he has time to develop and isn’t getting thrown to the wolves like AR (in Indy with a poor O-line).

Milroe is very intelligent. Well spoken. A natural born leader with an incredible upbringing. We all know where his athleticism ranks.

I absolutely love this draft class. I see us getting some great picks once we end up trading away some veterans as some of these rookies ARE going to take their spots. I don’t mean for that to sound negative…we’re in a great position and the future is secured.

I’ve never been this excited after a draft. I’ve haven’t been ‘content’ with our coaching staff since we won the big one.

MM is incredible. Kubiak is going to have this offense rolling.

I didn’t think JS was going to take a QB..I really didn’t. I love that he grabbed the best on the board (imo).

LFG!!!
I think milroe is starting off humbly too and he will become inspiring through his growth into the leader

Darnold (year 7, first with Vikings) was pretty good in the RZ in ‘24

62 for 88 (70.5%), 395 Yards (4.5 yards/att) 26 TDs to 4 Ints

Compared to Geno (year 12, fifth with Seahawks):

27 for 56 (48.2%), 211 Yards (2.8 Y/A), 10 TDs to 5 Ints.

And I want you stress what is in parenthesis next to the names because Geno had 2-5 off-seasons/training camps/games of building chemistry and familiarity with most of his skills players.

Don’t know if it’s something in his film while he had better stats 18 TDs, 0 Ints in ‘22; 15 to 2 in ‘23 his accuracy nosedives within the RZ (53.9 in ‘22, 43.1 in ‘23, and the 48.2 last season). Not to say it isn’t to be expected but Smith has been one of the most accurate QBs in the league overall and I’m sure his accuracy numbers outside of the RZ are in the 70-80%. Just kind of weird that he becomes a different QB in the RZ, you’d almost wished he had turned up his athleticism and run with more authority to negate some of those flaws whether it’s reading defenses or executing on script.
It’s all in Geno’s head. He could be great if he would just say screw it I’m all in and I’m gonna fight you. But he doesn’t he takes excuses and thinks living to fight another day applies to football.

I agree. There is more evidence that Sam Darnold’s career is turned a corner than there was when Geno became the qb in Seattle. The real cool difference though is darnolds attitude. I see him as a guy that will put it all on the line to win and I see him as the kind of leader that men will also fight alongside of. He will lead by example which is inspiring. He is going to add to the culture here something that we haven’t had in our qb in awhile. He has more Josh Allen in him than geno ever could have.
Think his team liked and respected him...? This celebration after they beat the Vikings pretty much sums it up!

This is honestly one of the best and most…. Thought out press conference I’ve seen from a player let alone a rookie.

This kid is special, I’m looking forward to seeing his growth with Seattle
I don’t know how anyone with an open mind can hate the kid.

There are no “perfect, right out the box, can’t miss prospect QBs.”

Every QB will go through a learning curve when they hit the NFL and great coaches have a full season of tape on you.

Every great young QB at some point will have to get used to defensive coordinators getting the upper hand at times.

Out of the box, Milroe, has gifts that aren’t cookie cutter every year prospect. He has good running ability, he has a cannon arm, but importantly, he has a desire to learn and be guided.

Let the kid develop and let’s see how he is.

I love this kids potential!

And it’s worth developing a great team and coaches around him.

Help him succeed because he does have that willingness and attitude about him!

AR is trash at this point period, don't be blaming the Indy line which
was the highest paid his first two seasons.
He was way overdrafted and needs lots of work that you just cannot fix
in a couple of seasons.
