Yup. I feel about the same way he comes across. No bitterness, but the calls are magnified b/c of the outcome. One cannot underestimate how big the calls were that he mentioned between 5:48 and 6:08. Kept drives going that shouldn't have. Interesting that PC thinks that Safety should have been a TD. I think the NFL called it that way to keep the Colts in the game at home. And yes, I saw the replay as well.

I like how he is honest about what he saw. That's not whining. That's commenting.

Yes some of the calls were ticky tacky and close but I did not think it was only one sided. The safety was very close but it could have been construed as the ball still moving and not fully controlled. Also this whole conspiracy thing is absurd. The only thing the NFL is guilty of is giving us back to back 1pm est games on the road.

We had plenty of opportunities to literally blow this team out and we did not capitalize. Russ overthrew countless receivers and we had trouble converting third down. In this league if you settle for FG's over TD's it will come back to haunt you and it did yesterday. I think this team actually needed a loss like this to get their **** together. I hate the loss as much as anyone but it may be for the greater good in the long run.

It's interesting how even the home town play by play guys at Lucas field watched the replay and thought it was a touchdown.

Hmmm. Not sure if you are just generally ranting or directing at what I posted or even disagreeing with coach. I stand by my comments and PC that it's ok to have an opinion. I thought PC did a great job of mentioning factors in the ebb and flow of the game that led to the outcome. Unless I missed something, he never said it was "one-sided" and no mention of conspiracy in this post whatsoever. That drama isn't needed in this thread. Just talking about the game. Things happened. Questions are being asked and, I think, good and fair enough answers were given by Pete. I love how he leads this team. He is also happy to not skirt the tough questions of the press. He handled it all admirably, in my estimation. Please don't assume I'm saying something else, if that is the case.

You wrote "I think the NFL called it that way to keep the Colts in the game at home". If thats not a conspiracy theory I don't know what is. Not as bad as the NFL purposely turning the lights out in last years SB but along those lines. Whatever the case we had plenty of chances and did not capitalize. We are all friends here so here's a "Go Hawks" to you and everyone else.

What would Irsay say and/or do if the reverse occurred?

Paul Allen needs to throw his weight around sometimes.

Brings you back down to earth. Two things stand out to me...

1. Makes you realize you can't always come back, even if you're still in it.
2. You can't shoot yourself in the foot (losing timeouts, penalties, missed tackles), and expect to win.

The loss comes doesn't come at a bad time. We come back to the CLink and have 4 very winnable games (Tenn, @AZ, @STL, TB). Time to refocus, get some guys back healthy, and put on a show this weekend.

It appeared the Golden was going to say something too, be declined and just smiled instead.

NFL players and coaches have to be politicians as well.

Ah, ok. I see where you got your material for that comment. Nah, I didn't mean it exactly that way and I appreciate you granting me at least a bit of the benefit of doubt. I'll admit that I don't know for certain if the NFL is COMPLETELY on the up and up. I'll leave it at that because I like to think that it is and watch games as if it is.

I generally agree with much of what you said. Just had to get clarification on what seemed like a response that missed the main point of my post. I'll say this, though... it's entertainment. How entertaining is it in a game that was built up so much to have the home team being blown out in the 1st quarter? Pete Carroll is adamant that it was a TD and laughed it off that something was up there. I think the length of time it took to give the decision on that gave even more reason to at least wonder a bit. But, not to launch out a campaign for a conspiracy.

I just think those things happen. Too, mistakes happen and sometimes we hear of "make up calls" for mistakes to balance it out. When "make up calls" don't happen... teams and fans tend to wonder if the game was called "both ways" as they say. Not on the same level, but I've been on the sidelines each Saturday recently and lots of funny business goes on. We're a bit too naive if we think otherwise. You wouldn't believe some of the things that go on. If I told you, you might call me out for a conspiracy theory.

Yeah, Go Hawks. We can all agree on that.
