Jody would never have fired Pete without John telling her to, my opinion anyway

All Seahawks employees serve at Jody's pleasure; she can dismiss anyone, according to the terms of their contracts or with additional compensation.

As the head of the Seahawks, a billion-dollar enterprise, Jody won't do anything without plan b, c, d in place, and backup ready to step in. In this case, she has either gotten understanding from Schneider that he will stay when she fires Pete to guarantee stability and continuity, or, she acted on hint-hint nudge-nudge from Schneider, we shall never know. What we do know? She won't act without some input from Schneider.

Similarly, Schneider had a 'something' with Darnold before getting rid of Geno. He will look like an idiot, and put the franchise in harm's way if he doesn't have a plan in place, with a plan b as backup. Except on dot net, Schneider blessed Geno with a 45 mil contract, only to be surprised by the ungrateful idiot to turn it down, out of kindness, Schneider traded Geno within a day and signed Darnold a couple of days later at a discount. I love dot net because I like how some folks' minds work.

So Pete pretty much admitted he had the influence and power over the drafts while he was here. Anybody remember some members on this board claiming that was BS and crazy?

Wasnt it literally in his contract that he had decision making power over John? So no I dont think people were calling that BS.

I don't care about Pete. He is the Raiders' problem now. He can waste their timeouts and challenges.
