The Rams use play action and the threat of the run so effectively I’m a little jealous. They’ll play action all day and just gash teams through the air. Then when you least expect it gash you on the ground. Screw analytics, just the threat of Gurley opens up the passing game

How do you come up with three linemnan that know the system before a game on short notice, you can't pass block due to injury, they tried to do the run game but came up short due to injury. Be happy they did as well as they did and have something to build on next year rather then try to cut off Pete and Brians nutsacks.

How fine is a scheme that cant account at all for personnel injuries? The way you make it sound, if our interior line wasnt dinged up, everything would be fine. Or that because they were dinged up there was nothing to be done and we were going to lose. But we were dinged up there and nothing was seemingly done to ameliorate it.

It isnt a competitive mindest to drown slowly...

We were kind close to winning that one. Instead of casting the outcome as fate because injuries, why not look into things that could have been done?

One of the things that has been slowly developing in my mind is that Petes way more brittle than it seems at first blush if the personnel is deficient. Maybe more so than other teams. Because he sticks to his guns (and they arent without merit at times like early in the season and getting dudes experience in the mode you want them to play in). Brittle is not bad or average even, its an aspect of the team encompasses a lot including adaptability.

When most said we would be three years away from the playoffs at the start of the season I look at the growth as well as the experince we got as a golden blessing that these guys are going to benefit greatly from going forward.

Injuries are the wildcard in any run for a team, we were hit all over with them and tribute to the guys trying to play through them but you have to be pretty sound to move forward this time of year.

Dude there are other things that can be done besides your extremist idea. Like moving the WB more, throwing more, a quick strike passing game. Look you can continue to argue all you want, but once again when you HC, OC, and QB all say they should have passed more adn sooner then guess what that is what they should have done.
