Rashid Shaheed, we have only barely used him in the offense, he now has had a week to be incorperated much more into it, Jsn is a known, they may have had problems but now they will have to account for Kupp and Rashid Shaheed as well. He has so much quick twitch and speed that can't be experienced in film even if they watch Saints games with how we use him a bit differently.

Even if our run game was clicking, we still trade for Shaheed. We got Shaheed for this Rams game. He's gonna be the speed guy to take off the top of that defense. Shaheed wasn't used that much last week on purpose.

As for Shaheed, I hope he is a much bigger part of the game this week. Remember that long touchdown DK scored on Dallas last year ? I wanna see Shaheed do that at least 5 times this Sunday.

Yes, it was on purpose. That purpose was the fact that it takes time to learn every route on every play including blocking assignments. It’s also not just about him learning the playbook because he can do that but he has to learn those plays and how Darnold runs them. He needs to practice them with Darnold so they are comfortable with each other.

I do fully expect to see more usage each week as he gets comfortable in his role here.

Give him time. He will not change the outcome of the Rams game. The most he'll get is 4 touches. If he has returner duties, then hey, he could strike lightning.

This game is about 3 things:
1) Can our suffocating defense contain Rams Offense? Pop the Pacua pimple; stop the run.
2) can our O-line establish the run and protect Darnold? Win the trenches.
3) Can Macdonald avoid getting outcoached by McVay? History is being written between these two.

Shaheed did play the Rams already and had a decent game. 5 catches for 68 yards. Averaged 13.6 with a long of 26. I think we see him do more than last week.

Could Macdonald be lying? Of course, but he did say that he was only going to be used in packages that he’d had time to practice before the game last week and that he’d get more in each week.
