Currently we do not play another team with a winning record. If we play smart and the coaching staff doesn't try to get cute we should easily be the #2 seed.

We need to protect are star players with all these injuries and go into playoffs healthy and ready to go to Houston and bring that silver trophy back to Seattle.

We have three division games, it does not matter their record, there is no cake walk.

All we have to do is just beat the Rams and Cards and im pretty sure we literally win the division right now despite any other games

I think that's correct.

We are presently 7-2-1; the Cardinals are 4-5-1, and the Rams are 4-6.

If we only won two more games -- against the Rams and Cards -- we would finish 9-6-1.

If the Cardinals won every game but against us, they would finish 9-6-1; However, we would have the tie-breaker based on head to head competition.

If the Rams won every game but the one against us, they would finish 9-7 -- and be one-half game behind us.

If we win four more games we're division champs regardless if the Cardinals or Rams go undefeated.

We don't really "protect" players until we build a pretty substantial lead, like today. We just need to play our brand of football and we'll be fine.

Could we realistically run the table? Sure we could. Like was said, we have the better record than all those teams right now. Nothing changes but the venue. They prepare the same, they go out and play the same and let the chips fall where they may. Like our math wizards figures out upthread, we are a near lock for a playoff spot, and in good shape for #2 seed. If Dallas stumbles a couple of times down the stretch, and they might as Philly and the Giants fight for WC slots, we could come out with HFA.

Just gotta keep playing Seahawks football.

Hey, where's the "next three games" guy? Seems we did all right there. ;)

Personally I think ALL our remaining games are going to be tough and we had better play our A game in each and every one of them or the L's could add up quick. As good as we are, all these remaining teams are talented and dangerous and could easily beat us if we take them for granted.

The Bucs just beat the Chiefs in KC today. Think about that.
