Adams can't do both things at once. It's an either/or deal for him.
Our pass rush is handcuffed. Losing two key defensive players, both figured to bolster our rush, is a major blow. Whichever way you look at it, out D Line is not a laughing matter. We need help to show up, and we need that to happen fast.

Once Diggs went out, it changed everything. Not sure why it just gets ignored. It was a factor. Couldn't blitz Adams nearly as much.

We must consider the lack of preparation time for the season when attempting to evaluate. The staff surely doesn't know yet what player combinations and schemes work best for this group. They will learn more as we progress through the first part of the season, but way too soon to make definitive prognostications as many in this thread have.

No one on our DL demands double team.
No one on our DL can win one on one.

Can this be fixed by play callings?

Actually if you look at the league generally speaking DL's are struggling. Why? Because there are no home field advantages. Making OL's have to rely on silent snap counts gives the DL an advantage. Not that there is virtually no crowd noise OL's aren't at such a disadvantage. We had at least 2 sacks that we didn't seal the deal because Cam is tough to bring down (shocker I know). I don't know if the DL is as terrible as we are assuming after 2 weeks. But luckily it hasn't killed us yet.
