You are JS. Do you pursue him in FA and if so, what do you pay him?

He'll be 32 next year, same as Raheem Brock when he arrived in Seattle. I could see this. And for those saying he'll want too much money - I think he knows that time has passed. We need a proven pass rusher in case Clemons doesn't make the start of the year. It'll cost more to get a guy like Michael Johnson from Cincy.

So I think we should at least entertain this idea.

I don't care about how much money, he's a solid DE with 4-5 years left.

Yeah, I agree, I don't think Osi costs nearly as much as people are counting on.

Ugh. We need to find a YOUNG pass rusher that isn't going to hit our cap so much.

Osi isn't going to come for cheap, regardless of what you want to believe.

I think Osi is done. How many sacks did he have this year? Not many, only 3 more than Mebane

prefer to spend the $$$ on the interior disruption guy.. collapsing the pocket and the run stopping is better than a pure edge rusher.. a guy like dockett would be awesome

I agree on the interior rush. Its a very big need as u seen today.

Have you spoken to his agent then?

We have no idea what he'll be worth. This time last year Matt Flynn was getting Kevin Kolb money. Umenyiora is a 260lbs defensive end in his 30's. He didn't have a great 2012 season. But he might have some worth to us as a veteran stop gap for Clemons.

Not saying he'll come here for a cheese sandwich, but it's also not going to be a mega-money deal. He might appreciate joining a contender too for the final years of his career.

Question for you EnglishHawk. What do you call a grilled cheese sandwich in Great Brittan?
