But that was all bs. We are just better than years ago when We Couldn't Win On The Road.

I still think there's something to it when it comes to 10 AM games though I believe at the heart of the matter you're correct. Our team still seems to start slowly at 10 AM on the road a good portion of he time, like at Houston last year, at D.C. and Atlanta in the playoffs the year before, at St. Loo this year, etc. It isn't always the case though (at Indy last year). But yeah, actually being good makes a huge difference.

The early away start curse as it seemed was really just an excuse for a team not properly totally prepared for the time change. Pete is a better coach than Holmgren, and his teams are more talented, bigger, faster, stronger, and better than any before Pete's arrival. Getting things coached up and the players believing is an annual task as is the job of keeping the core group together. Hats off to the whole organization as they have come back to seize their division.

One game to go, hopefully a nice Christmas present for the 12s, home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Pete Carrol changed practice times to 10am to specifically help the players get use to 1pm EST road games. Holmgren use to have the team meetings in the morning and practice in the afternoon. Could be one of the reasons they play better now.

They still played like crap in the first half of 10am games this year.

Fans here didn't say that they can't play on the road - just that it is hard for West Coast teams to play 10am games

The played poorly earlier because of injuries and not playing as a team. Both issues have been fixed.

Hawk fans have seen first hand that east coast 10 am games are much harder to win if the adjustment is not properly managed. However, it has always seemed to be our offense that failed to get on the plane. Having an elite defense mitigates that problem and Carroll has been very successful in managing the time zone changes.

I see 3 games played at 10AM EST on the road (obviously). We went 1-2 and were down at halftime in all games. I fail to see the OPs point......

Panthers – down 6-3 at halftime – won barely
Chiefs – down 14-13 at halftime – lost game
Rams – down 21-6 at halftime – lost game

The mediots don't use road woes against the Seahawks because their beloved Packers and Donkos have even worse road woes and NOBODY wants to hear that.

The 10am thing is real. Even when we win, it's still a real thing.

We've only played 3 10am games this year - we're 1-2. We squeaked out a win against the Panthers.

The 10AM road thang is still very real. We still look about the sames in games that fit that parameter, OP. And even in the road games that were later than 10AM PST, let's not forget that we've went against some mediocre-to-piss poor QB's. I saw many, many throws that even Stanton would have turned into big plays in WK 16.
