Draft has been over for a while, and we got Christian Haynes a RG. We signed Laken Tomlinson, an aging LG, Fant RT, and now Connor Williams a C. I am doubtful that we will or could sign any more FAs. OL 2024:

LT: Charles Cross
Our boy Cross is having a very good camp. This is super encouraging!

LG: Laken Tomlinson,
Can he play like 2 years ago when he played for 9ers?

C: Connor Williams
A top 3 C according to PFF ranking, will his injury slow him down? Olu was a 5th (?) rounder, if he doesn't work out, we didn't waste much.

RG: Christian Haynes
He is also having a good camp. Bradford could still win the job, but our front office drafted Haynes for a reason, right?

RT: George Fant
Fant is not a star, but can provide workmanlike performance. Lucas can still be ready before or during the season.

We have 3 vets who will transform the interior, and two tackles who could at least be adequate.

I am confident that this line will be better than OL 2023.

Class 2023 isn't getting a lot of love from coaching and Schneider? We drafted RG Bradford, and a year later drafted another RG Christian Haynes. We drafted Olu, and a year later we signed Conner Williams.

Lead, follow or get out of the way! Every job needs competition. This team needs better, more consistent and nastier play from their players moving forward. No more entitlement.

One can only hope they mesh better throughout the season, but Geno is going to have a hell of a time doing anything if he’s constantly under duress

Truly our achilles heel. Could make or break this season. I hope we're not just rolling with that shit show. Don't know what adjustments they could possibly make though.

OL was bad in the first game, especially in the first half? Fant was particularly bad?

We got Lucas and Cross in '22, then Bradford and Olu in '23, then Haynes and a couple tackles in '24. And we picked up Tomlinson, Fant, and Williams. Surely, the OL can do better. If not, it might be time to start drafting the best OLs available in Round 1 in the next couple of drafts.

Hate to say it but it's almost like our OL performed better after Fant was injured.

OMG how does Stone have a spot on this team? I’ve never seen such lackluster attempts at blocking. He was whiffing all afternoon.

Yes, he’s been bad ever since he was drafted. Way way, way too slow to play tackle.

Forsyth is 3rd string for a reason. His only ability is availability.

Well there’s only one way to go…up. First half of game 1, let’s see how they move folks around and schematically clean things up. I have faith it will improve week over week
