So if he gets the start at C, when Cross is back does our line lineup like this:

LT - Cross
LG- Zabel
C - Sundell
RG - Bradford / Haynes
RT - Lucas

In this case are we starting 5 guys on their rookie deals? That has to be pretty unusual if not a first

To be clear I wasn't saying it as a negative. In fact I would say it skews those stats they try and use of salary to show how much a team invest in their line. In the Hawks case it's higher draft pick investment vs dollars right now

Barring more injuries i'd bet on that being the starting 5, although i'm not sure Haynes even makes the bench ahead of Jones, Kight, and whoever the game day back-up is at C.

JS doesn't care about OL though. Looks like a lot of young, hungry talent.
Lol.

AT this point, barring an injury (knock on wood), I'd be completely shocked if the OL wasn't Cross, Zabel, Sundell, Bradford, Lucas.

Olu will be 2nd string C and Haynes probably makes the roster as a backup, but they might have seen enough from one of the other young guns to warrant keeping instead.

& Kudos to Bradford! Real games need to be played, but I'm not sure I've seen a doghouse (fans, not coaches) vet turn around to the degree he has. My gut says 90+% of guys with his performance issues are gone within 1-2 years. Dude resurrected his career in Seattle...they usually do that on another team.

I had huge hopes for Haynes...
You still can. Most Offensive lineman take 3-4 years to "get it." He's only had 1 year. He has the talent and potential, just has to put it together. Though if Bradford is as good as advertised and same with Zabel, our starting guard positions should be locked up for a very long time.

Honestly, I think our whole line is about to be locked up for a very long time.
