I don’t know how you guys’ are getting to 11 wins or more, but God bless your optimism.

I see us as an 8-9 win team. I need to see better LB play and a vastly improved contribution from Derick Hall to make a playoff push.

I bet most other teams fans we play this year posting on similar threads are penciling in the Seahawks as a win or most likely a win.

The O-Line improves to the level needed. That is still a big IF at this point. We haven’t seen much of starters. Our C & RT spots need a medical fairy looking over them.

LB was a concern, but they have shown up in PS so far so not as much with that group.

All other positions are stacked.

Seahawks have a decently tough schedule against teams that are definitely on par or just simply better. Tough to predict a few games with teams that have really changed their roster from last year. Imo they will need 4 or even 5 wins in their own division to get to double digit wins. They need to sweep Rams and Cards.

Not being much of a betting man, I wagered $500 on the over 7.5 for the Hawks. If victorious it pays out a total of $870 iirc.
Of course I had wife’s permission.

I felt it was an easy play for the over at 7.5.

9-8, start off 2-2, slump in the middle, 3rd quarter run, lose a key game or two in the 4th. Miss the playoffs. Promising season looking forward that says the talent is there, the coaching is there, just need a bit more gel and player development of rookies. Also bringing in a new QB (Geno is not it).

Nope, not thinking it was a bad bet. I just never make bets at even money, let alone for less than even. But I don't bet on people, only horses. I think if you make a bet you feel gives you an advantage it is a good bet for you.

I don't know, I mean it just seems with carroll doing fairly well and almost making it to the playoffs with inadequate coaches, less then spectacular tackling and the agonizing 3 and outs...if Mcdonald can improve any or all of that this next season..I can't see any reason why this can't be a 10 win season or better and playoff bound.

After seeing one drive from Geno and the (mostly) starting offense I’m tempted to change this but I think I’ll leave it and see how it plays out.
