I see this team starting out 4-0 possibly 5-0. I feel strongly that we will be the talk of the first quarter of the season. It will be fun to look back at the end of the season to see who got it right and who was way off.

11-6 baby!
2nd place in the division
Win a wildcard playoff game
Lose in the divisional

Keeping it simple here

9-8
Miss playoffs
Spend offseason listening to impatient fans calling for heads to roll

Hoping I’m wrong

So the prediction will be Cut Geno, Fire Mac, Fire John, Fire Jody.

Those have to be the top four for this year we will see people post.

Just curious about who will be this seasons whipping boy, there is always a guy.

Record - Need to see a bit of play before I do that.

17-0 BABY! SUPERBOWL VICTORY!!

I'm keeping expectations tempered

I'll be happy if we're in the
9-8 to 11-6 zone. Its still .500 AND technically a winning record.

If we're below, Geno, DK (if he has any issues like last yr), Woolen, and Cross will be the whipping boys.
Most of these guys have been the .net whipping boys already either during this offseason or during the season last yr.

I do expect the defense to be better, but I expect the team overall to start slow as they finally get in the groove.

You are missing the point of the thread. It's not meant for in-depth analysis after weeks of the season before making a prediction. It's just meant to be a preseason "gut feeling" guess to see how close or far off we really were at season's end. Go ahead, join the club.

Fine, best guess pulling a Seahawk out of a top hat blindly and on faith, 9-8, I think they come out surprising the first few games against weaker competition, get figured out a few games and then adapt and finish back and forth win and loss. But next year we hit the ground running.

I think if our D steps up a notch and our Oline can get some continuity we can reach 11-6 and win a po game. But what do I know..??

As much as the rest of us in August which is why it’s fun to guess!

Our OL is much improved, Cross-Tomlinson-Williams-Haynes/Bradford-Fant, and with that our offense ought not to regress from last year.

Our DL is improved with Murphy, LB may be a problem, but isn't our HC a LB guru?

We must be better than last year, no reason not to as we addressed two of our biggest weaknesses.

Aros mentioned something similar in a different thread…

MM just oozes confidence. He’s the type of guy you’d let run your business. It’s hard to imagine him not having success…even as we have perceived ‘holes’ in certain places.

I think this goes for every Seahawks fan…my anticipation is at an all time high.

Here and there
Niners have had the pleasure along with the rest of our division the luxury of knowing how Pete's team plays over the course of several seasons. They adapted..Pete unfortunately with the coaching staff he chose did not. I'm thinking teams have to now figure out the new dynamics of Mike's and Grubbs coaching styles and I'm guessing they could be in for a treat for which may be to our advantage. Compound that with the talent onboard....I'd be willing to guess this season ending at 14-3. Homerism perhaps but a very possible scenario as well.
