I've been saying for a few years now that 2026 would be our year but I sure wouldn't complain if we could do it a year earlier.

I think we drop the NFC Championship Game. If we throttle the Rams, I’ll change my opinion.

It’s hard to beat a team three times in one season, though.

Yeah I think we make the championship game, but lose a close one. It's a huge step forward for the team this year. Next season the Hawks win the Bowl and start a string of dominating seasons , returning Seattle to a juggernaut that teams hate to see on their schedule .

In 2012, the team was just a piece away from competing(consistent pass rush from the front four). The difference this year is that this team is complete personnel wise.

So this team can win it all, whereas the way we lost to Atlanta in the NFCCG lined up with my realistic expectations.

What would hold this team back could be experience in the moment. Is that overrated? The roster is stacked and ready right now.

It never occurred to me about the Atanta loss before getting into the Bowl the next year. Good catch there. It really does look like all the pieces are in place now. And they have a lot of attitude and confidence. This season is really turning out to be a cool ride

They still need to figure out two things, how to put teams away and not relax, and to have a consistent running game. I like what I see but am not saying we have it all together, it takes games like against the Bucs to season a team, we have looked much better but I see us letting up and giving teams hope when their heart should be taken.

I’m all in on Super Bowl champs despite this team not being perfect. We have to find some way to protect the ball better (Sam and O-line issues under heavy pressure; in particular on the right side) but I think we can do that to an extent to win games as our defense is going to be ferocious. Watch out NFL because the unit is as healthy as it has been all year; and has the potential to take over any game.
Every team has flaws; apparent flaws this year. This is the team I’d want to be riding with even if I wasn’t a fan.
