No chance, IMO. There's no way the Hawks keep 7 WR's active on the 45-man gameday roster.

Regardless, I'm happy that a talented, rookie wideout could return to the field. Having more options, the opportunity to make decisions, has usually helped this team since Pete and John came on board.

I could actually see him replacing Richardson on the active roster. PRich has all kinds of potential, but I haven't been impressed with his play-making capabilities yet. I think he'll need time to develop more. I think Norwood is still an unknown quantity, especially for fans. I would love to see what he can do in a game, and I love the thought of having another possession receiver on the team.

Wow been one game and people are saying replace Richardson, hope your bosses are all more understanding then some of you are or lots would be unemployed after their first day at work.

I wasn't that impressed during preseason either. I'm not saying to 'replace' him, I'm saying it might be a good idea to deactivate him for a game or two to get a look at Norwood. Right now, I don't see Richardson bringing anything to the table that we don't already have in Harvin or Lockette.

Well what I saw was a showcase of Harvin, teams are going to start trying to scheme for Harvin and that will open up things for everyone else to show what they can bring, looking at the way the ball was distributed nobody was getting a lot of targets other than Harvin, when they cheat to one side more a receiver with Richardsons abilities will show up much more.

Saying that, he is still getting his feet under him, game speed is not practice speed. I expect we will see a much more savvy player within a few weeks by allowing him to play against real game speed and the players of starter level.

As I said, Norwood is inactive today,
It would have been a minor miracle if he wasn't. He's only been practicing for 2 weeks since returning from injury. I expect after the bye he'll have a shot.
