Niners reportedly sideline Purdy again

The niner drama is outstanding. Most everybody now knows that Mac is better than Purdy. Shanahan does not want to lose the locker room and fan base so he's trying to keep a lid on who should be the starting QB. Grant Cohn rains on Shanahan regularly for clicks and the QB "non-controversy" is producing. It will be sizzling if Purdy loses Sunday.

Easy way to determine which QB is better is the ask the 12's which QB would you rather face vs niners. BTW, they HAD Sam in the building but did the Purdy worship and kept Sam back. If they had elevated Sam, Shanahan would have a ring now.

All QB's these days are system guys. Having a gun helps. Purdy does not have a gun. Sam has a gun. Just sayin.

IMO, the 49ers roster is 6-1 vs Seahawks. That QB slot under Shanahan is interchangeable; see Mac Jones. Mac has rolled with that group with half the team on IR.

Yes I would take Purdy over Darnold in the 49ers system, because I know what he is capable of in this system. Darnold would be an unknown. The one game that Sam Darnold played in the 49ers system, he looked like Mac Jones. Lots of underneath throws.

I would take the Seahawks passing offense and Darnold over the 49ers offense this year because your weapons are healthy. JSN has been the best WR in the league this year where the 49ers best WR weapon is a banged up Juwan Jennings

Purdy pushes the ball further down field than Mac Jones and has better mobility than Mac Jones. He also holds the ball longer, where as Mac releases it quick. They are quite different.

I can remember lots of 15-20 yard scrambles by Purdy against the Seahawks over the years. Mac does not have that. Darnold does though
