York is the BEST owner of an opposing team I could ever want Marv...
Is York REALLY the fight you want to pick Marv? There is picking battles and then there is picking battles WISELY...You're just picking battles.
Sorry man....arguments like the one(s) you are making are precisely the problem. You decide Yorks a bum so paint EVERYTHING that happens with that brush. If he uses field turf, uses grass....no matter what he does you'll spin it to him being a bad owner.
That's pretty much whats gone on all offseason. Anything he does or says is painted in the exact same way. I don't even dislike Jed. The media circus around him this past year is simply ludicrous. Want an example?
He says he wants them to contend for a SB every year. That's spun into he'll fire any coach that doesn't get them there every year. That's what every owner should say.
He says they need to get back to what they are good at on offense. He meant like 2012 but the media and fans paint it as he meant pre-Harbaugh. He didn't.
He cites Steve Kerr as an example of a team letting a popular coach go and getting a better result and he's destroyed in the media because everyone has already decided Tomsula will fail.
Basically, peeps CONSTANTLY make inferences to what he's saying and then go out of their way to skew them in the worst possible light.
FACT: Jed Hired McCloughan. FACT: Jed hired Baalke. FACT: Jed hired Harbaugh. FACT: Jed got the stadium built neither his uncle or anyone else could. FACT: Jed got the team back to 3 straight NFC title games. That was all Jeds reign.
Now he fires a guy because it became appearant was a problem for him, management, AND the players. No he's just a spoiled brat and a moron?
Making that leap is ludicrous to me and is pretty much a lazy way to look at the situation.
