-- Yes please. Hawks get permission to interview Saints QB coach Andrew Janocko. Not saying he is a whisperer, but he seems to be able to elevate the play of what he is dealing with. Cousins best year, serviceable with Justin Fields and had Carr off to a great start, and I saw some good improvement from Rattler. Hope we can land him.

Thanks for a link. (y) Sets a good posting example.

"Janocko has fairly extensive Kubiak ties in his 12 seasons in the NFL. Obviously he was on the same coaching staff as Kubiak this past season in New Orleans, but they were on the Minnesota Vikings staff concurrently from 2019 to 2021. Janocko has worn many hats as an NFL assistant, including offensive quality control coach, assistant offensive line coach, wide receivers coach, and QBs coach in Minnesota, Chicago, and New Orleans." -- https://www.fieldgulls.com/2025/1/3...ts-quarterbacks-coach-andrew-janocko-nfl-news

I don't know anything about him except he looks like Harry Potter got contacts. He seems to have worked with average QB's and elevated them to some of their best seasons so that's intriguing. He helped make Rattler look decent which is saying something. Hope O-line is next after this

Bring him in and however Kubiak wants that'll make his shit work. The best case scenario is that Kubiak gets the offense functional and stays for like two seasons at least if does begin to really excel, that way the offensive staff is rich with his guys you can just promote internally and keep some level of consistency.

Hopefully he is good at working with rookie QBs and that we actually need him to work with a rookie QB.

What impact will this have on Geno???????
Is it relevant? I am not sure about Geno being with the Hawks next season. Macdonald had measured good words about his QB but clearly stated it's not his decision to make. The decider? hasn't said a word, has he?

It was a joke. @SoulfishHawk said 3....2...1.....

I thought he was implying "here comes more Geno debate." I couldn't resist the low hanging fruit.

Jones has been on the Giants staff for three seasons, starting out as an offensive assistant in 2022 before switching to assistant QBs coach in 2023, where he’s had the thrill of coaching the likes of Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, and Tommy DeVito. Prior to New York, Jones did work with Kubiak on the Minnesota Vikings staff, serving as offensive quality control in 2019 and then assistant wide receivers coach in 2020 and 2021.
