Meanwhile, .NET is flooded with complaints about the victory.

We are too close to the picture. Rams played their butts off and have had the Seahawks number the past year and a half. The two wins by Seattle have been nail-biters and the loss at EJD last year was the same. They may not be able to stop the run with some teams, but they can handle the Seahawks ZBS just fine.

My point is that we're talking about two different things, quantity versus quality, quality having more of an effect on future games (i.e. the score doesn't carry to the next game, the players do). If that's not a conversation you want to have, then that's fine, but then you also waive your right to deride the members who do.

The non-Seahawk fans you were talking to probably had lower expectations of a huge blowout coming into the game, and perhaps more respect for the Rams defense at home. Vegas was predicting a 27-16 Seahawks win, which is much tighter than 99% of the posts in the game predictions thread here. If your expectation was a 52-3 rout, you would probably be disappointed as well.

I am not shocked at all that our offense looked bad against the Rams defense without both starting tackles and the #1 WR. That makes it easy to be happy about the win rather than outraged about the lack of offensive production.
