Russell Wilson isn’t happy about this at all, he’s done and has been since 2021. How many coaches/talent evaluators have cast him aside now…regardless of what he accomplished in Seattle, and yes he’s an icon.

It means nothing now, there’s a reason the wind shield is so big and the rear view mirror is so small.

If Russell doesnt play this game, then him going to the Steelers would have meant nothing. I have a hard time believing that Russell would be showing even a glimpse of being injured by this point even if he had to hide it. I also dont believe that Russell would be ok with even the idea of not playing the Broncos. Something fishy is going on. Also, What happened to that Wolverine blood?

This is where I'm coming from. Seahawks Russ NEVER would let a calf tightness keep him from playing. EVER. Clearly, there's more to the story here and I personally believe it has to do with the fact that he's simply not the player he once was. He probably also wants to avoid the inevitable boo's that would rain down on him once he took the field.

He really set himself up with that stupid "Mr. Unlimited" moniker.

In the end, Russ's wife will divorce him and the 12"s will see him outside of Century Link field wearing a tattered suit, sunglasses and holding a sign saying: "Broke", will POSE for food!

The game this week is worth watching. Every positive play... every scoring drive, impressive pass... everything that Fields might do to contribute to a win is a nail in the career coffin of Me3. If Fields impresses this week, i doubt they go back to Russ unless the wheels fall off at some point later in the season. Pittsburgh has the EXACT ingredients in place to allow Fields to grow into their franchise guy if he has it in him - solid defense. Solid running game. Control the clock, limit mistakes, manage the game. There's no upside for Pitt in letting Russ do that. He no longer has the X factor to warrant starting for them if Fields plays above average to good ball.

Russ's career is on the line sunday.

That's kind of crazy talk or wishful hatred to think Sunday will be Russ's career. Im pretty sure they will release Russ or trade him and can play for another team. I also doubt, Fields can maintain being average. He will screw up eventually, especially when they ask him to win it.

He had a tunover free game last Sunday, so i give him that. He can run but not sure if he will be able to take all those continues hits and be able to hit his throws when they need it.

Fields will do good against Broncos if he just runs the ball. The Stealers defense alone can win them the game against the Broncs as that offense is terrible. He just cant turn the ball over. Maybe just let the RB beat the Broncos, just like Walker did for us. Should be an easy win for the Stealers.
