I've never been all that impressed with Star personally. Every time I watched him at Utah he seemed like just another good player, nothing special.

I really liked Short in the draft. When he's not playing lazy, he's as talented as any DT from the draft last year. I will be watching the trenches closely.

I never got that impression from Kawaan, dude had a motor that never quit. He may not be as physically talented as Star, but he did make other players around him at Purdue better.

Where have you heard that Carp is even starting week 1?
He's not starting... but will play.

From Pete's presser a day ago.

Weird, so pete is going to Rotate O-lineman. Interesting....
They could use more lineman on extra points. I hope Cable doesn't rotate lineman during the offensive possessions. I don't trust that fatty yet.

Who goes to the bench when Carp rotates in? McQ? Or does McQ slide over to RG when Carp comes in (Sweezy to bench)?

I would assume that McQuistan will come out and Carp will play a few series to get his feet wet. I doubt they would disrupt the right side of the line by moving 2 players to accomidate Carp.
