Totally BS, because I would have benched McCaffrey in my FF league. If I were a big time gambler, and SF lost or failed to cover, that would seem to be grounds for a lawsuit.

I'm not saying other teams don't do it but it is against the rules and Mason didn't go along with the facade providing evidence that is uually impossible for the NFL to obtain.

To be fair all they have to say is “we told him to be ready, he could start, so he’ll be taking reps with the ones” in case CMC can’t go at game time.

Questionable means might not play. Mason knew he was going to play 'a bunch'. Perhaps SF figured McCaffrey would be able to play, just not fully. Then Monday they re-evaluated and decided to sit him

Also, remember..... no one cares about your fantasy team.
