It's only two games into the season, and you all were very unspectacular in week one. Give it some time. If the Niners win in SF, both wins are nullified.

It's too bad that you can't recognize great defense when you see it. Don't worry, though. We'll be happy to demonstrate it again for you in the 'Stick.

Since you didn't recognize it while it was happening or even after the fact, that's two games into the season and both opposing quarterbacks have had their worst offensive production of their entire careers. That is spectacular.
I'm sorry, you must have read way too far into my post. I cannot find anywhere that I did not recognize a great defense??

Yes it was a great win against the Niners. Congratulations. I expected the 49ers to lose, just not for them to play that badly.

I'm not even going to bother to reply to the other junk, it's not even anything to reply to. If I'm mad at anything, it's the way my team showed it's a$$ last night. Our WR "problem" can be hidden against middle of the pack defenses, but is exposed by top notch DBs. In spite of that though, I expected our offensive line to be able to open up more running lanes. Oh well. I certainly didn't lose any sleep over it.

I stand by my word, however; if they split the series then the standings will even out. I expect the Niners to win at Candlestick... and if they don't....fml.

IF the 9ers beat the Seahawks at Candlestick, it definitely won't be a complete blow out like the Seahawks have done to the 49ers the last two games we played you in Seattle. Your team beat us in SF last season, however we kept the score close.

The hand clap at the end of that Pete Carroll "U MAD!" gif makes it even more hilarious than the troll looking smile on his face and the pointing. Hahahahahaa! That GIF and the one with Richard Sherman dancing with the SeaGals.. Someone with an account on the 49ers fan forum needs to go on there, make a thread with the subject title: "Dear 49ers Fans." Then just put those two GIF's on there with no text. LOL! Sherman dancing with that SeaGal should go first, then the "U MAD!"

I'd love to see the reaction of Winers fans.

Seahawks should bring the Lombardi Trophy home. You've already proven you're better than my Niners.

And if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped.

And... unspectacular? LOL. Your team just got it handed to them. Your QB has yet to score a touchdown on our starting defense. And yet, here you are, continuing to talk big. The false bravado is both hilarious and pathetic. Here's an idea - maybe your team can find a way to score an actual touchdown on our defensive starters and THEN maybe you can start talking about wins.

Denver looks really really good. Don't want to get to far ahead of ourselves, but if that's the Super Bowl matchup Peyton and his receivers vs our DBs would be a legendary matchup.
Yes it would and our pass rushers will have fun going after Lurch.

Yes, you kicked our butts again. Once again, you proven to clearly be the better team. Now its time for the Seahawks to start looking to play at Metlife Stadium in Feb. That should be only thing that matter to Seahawks and Seahawk fans.

Um, no thanks. I'll go ahead and enjoy the next 14 games of the regular season first. I'll enjoy watching my team go undefeated at home, watching KC try and fail to break our noise record, and I WILL bask in the glory of this entire season.

You Niner fans can sit around talking about SuperBowls. That's all you have. Some SuperBowl wins 20+ years ago, and a second-place season last year. Seems you of all people should understand the important of enjoying the season. Having a toilet bowl of a team for 20 years and then 2 seasons of great play. Maybe if you had enjoyed that whole season, it would take a bit of the sting away from that Ravens beatdown.

Oh, and just curious, how does it feel to watch Alex Smith take a terrible Chiefs team to 2-0? Have you been watching him? Looking A LOT better than Gonzo so far. That's gotta sting, huh? Pretty awesome. Harbaugh inherits a great team, gets a few decent seasons out of them, and then runs the team into the ground. Trading Alex Smith was STUPID.

Well I guess that's just the nature of the two fan bases, we're SB or bust, you guys love regular season wins. You might go down as the best regular season team of all time and come up short in the Superbowls, not ever knowing how it feels to capture the Lombardi. Legendary teams like the Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, Patriots, Niners, etc. want Superbowls, once you tasted that, you can't go back to accepting less. Seahawk fans I hear dislike us because we're smug, but all of the storied franchises are like that.

Uh huh....and if the shoe was on the other foot...the niners would be crowning themselves superbowl champs by now...and telling everyone else to go home and have a latte....Win ugly, win close, either way its a win!

That's not really true about the Niner fan base. True Niner fans judge by Superbowl wins not regular season. Anything less than a Superbowl is a failure. Seattle domination of the Niners shows just how good you are, but your team and the fans must have higher expectations.

Niner fans seriously can't see that this game means the NFC West now goes through Seattle. Sorry if our first goal is to win the division (and secure HFA.)

Also, this talk about Super Bowl expectations has only been true for 3 years for your team. When the 49ers sucked, your expectations were...to watch Barry Bonds.

As a Niner fan, I see it. What I'm saying is that you guys have proven to better than the Niners. Now its time for you to capture the Lombardi. The Rams have one, they captured one during the "greatest show of turf" era when they overcame and dominated the Niners, except they did it with offense. I expect Seattle to go out and get their 1st Lombardi trophy. Your team need to reward their great fan base and the city of Seattle with a trophy.

Are you serious? You're clowning the Seahawk fan base because we enjoy the regular season? If we don't win a superbowl every year we're failures? Fair weather fan mentality isn't how the 12th man roll. We love football, we love our team- win or lose; and tonight YOU lost and WE won. Let us enjoy it and discuss it on OUR boards. You can go cry somewhere else about Joe Montana and Steve Young's Superbowls from the 90's on your own. My God get a life.

So what you're saying is that you 49er fans only know failure and sadness. OK.

Maybe you should learn a lesson from us, enjoy the wins you do get. Because you won't be winning any SuperBowls with Kaepernick and Harbaugh. Harbaugh has never won any meaningful championship at any level of the game, and the entire NFL now has the book on how to beat Gonzo thanks to the Seahawks and Ravens. Your lack of a run game got exposed last night. The whole league has the playbook now, everyone will know how to beat you (and it ain't hard).

I loved watching all the sad 49er fans trudging back to their cars last night. It was hilarious. You were all yapping about SuperBowls then, too. It's the argument of a LOSER. Can't deal with the here and now, so you brag about ancient history. Things that happened before the salary cap era, back when John Candy was still alive and somewhere in the stands. Hilarious.

I had almost as much fun making John Candy jokes at the sad-faced braggarts last night as I did watching my team once again kick the living snot out of Gonzo and Douchebaugh.

Yes, its a bit irrational, but that's how it is. Fan is short for fanatic, there is no logic. If Seattle wins the Superbowl once or twice this decade, you will see what I mean, your fan base will never be the same. Once you start winning SB's you will expect to win them and you won't get too high or too low on regular season wins and losses.

Yes, success or failure. You guys blew us out in the regular season last year, But ask any Niner fan, what lost last year hurt the most, you would get a unanimous, the lost in the Superbowl. Any true Niner fan will tell you, if Seattle blew us out 70-3, yet the Niners won the Superbowl, that 70-3 lost would be a blip on the screen. However, Seahawks fans would continue to brag about it as they watch the confetti drop on the Niners in the Superbowl.

OK, so what you're actually saying is that if my team wins a Superbowl or two, I'll become an insufferable smug prick who brags about losing future championships, even when my team sucks in the regular season? Duly noted.

In the meantime, you should probably just quit watching football now, because your team won't be going to the Superbowl as long as they play like quitters:

Leave?

One of the best parts of smacking down a division rival is the trolls leave for awhile. It's glorious. Peace and quiet.

Why you still here arguing?

If the Superbowl is all that matters, why bother watching the regular season?

Not so fast with the bolded statement. This was one win within the division, and while impressive as it may be, that doesn't mean the division goes through anywhere just yet. That statement can't be made accurate until all divsional games are played, and after 17 weeks one team has more wins than another.

If the Niners win the NFCW again, will you still say the division goes through Seattle?

Answer the question.

Rams are 1-0 also... with a home win. Does the division go through St Louis also? Is there a fork in the road??
