I went to the game Sunday at the stick and although I am disappointed that we lost I think it will be good for the team going into the rest of the season and the playoffs. I cannot speak for the players in the locker room but basing my conclusion off of human nature, this loss should bring the hawks back down to reality. The reality of the situation is that our season thus far has been a fairy tale story. A near perfect season. In the NFL, that is almost unheard of. With that level of success it is easy for players and fans to get complacent and start to overlook the little details. I see this game as a wake up call for the team, letting them know they are mortal and that they need to prepare perfectly every week.
