K9 would be a hell of an addition to Denver. They already have their QB and a damn good defense.
K9 would actually complete that team so I can definitely see it if JS isn't able to come to an agreement with him on an extension.

Texans just traded for a RB, so they're out. I guess the Lions are going all-in on overpaying massively overrated Gibbs at some point.

I can't see Walker getting anything I wouldn't be happy to match, although I guess it just takes one team to do something crazy.
Texans got Montgomery.. Good!

Exactly. While I get the concerns for how big the contract COULD be, this K9 is average and/or is easily replaceable attitude is just strange. TO ME. Then again, I've been on this for a long time. Pretty much done even talking about it at this point.

Aaaah, the classics. K9 and JSN can easily be replaced, and Milroe is somehow a horrible QB. To quote the great Ace Venture: allllllrighty then.

We just won the Super Bowl, I'm good :)
Everyone is replaceable, I'm not saying it's easy or the player replacing will be better
but you never know, I mean who ever thought Sam was going to win a SB his first year
here?
Who thought JSN would replace DK easily?

Well given the Me3 trade the Broncos do fit in the stupid catagory, Titans and Giants not as much, usually are penny pinchers, oops can't use that phrase anymore that we no longer are making pennies. :)

We've reached a point where fans are trying to convince themselves that K9 "wasn't all that good" as a Hawk to rationalize us letting him go. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Except he wasn’t actually all that good. In four years, he put together one string of seven games that was newsworthy.

Otherwise, he only flashed here and there. And it took splitting carries to have him in place to make that great, seven games run.

I will give him this. Like many here, I had him pegged as a bad receiver, due to his low production. However, looking at the stats, he basically caught everything thrown his way, with only 2 drops per year every year. He made 31 receptions on 36 targets this year, with only 2 drops.

So, either he is a good receiver who is underutilized, or they know he’s awful so only throw very easy passes to him.

I struggle to see how we can’t replace him for $11 APY if he doesn’t accept that number.

Having Detroit trade David M to Houston, may in fact improve the Seahawks negotiation posture. Texans, I gathered were the team most likely to outbid everyone for him, but now that's off the table. The only teams left really is Kansas and someone else... Now Kansas is in CAP lockdown if I understand.. Oh Giants, and I think they don't have a lot of wiggle room either... so K9's leverage is not what it once was.

Was the offensive line doing it's job those first three + years?
Was the offense as a unit able to conceptualize, install and execute an effective screen pass?
Were checkdowns to the RBs much of a thing?
Reading the majority of the comments here, I think all three of those get a hard 'no'.

Not saying he's worth top $$, but I don't think lack of production and receptions are all on KW.

No, but the injuries are. Remember Shaun Alexander? He fell off a cliff, a common occurrence with running backs.

You say that like you believe K9 and JSN are the same level of players.

I’m sure you don’t actually believe that to be true?

???? Not the same level at all. I'm referring to several comments that make it seem like SOME think JSN and Walker are easily replaceable. I never once said losing K9 would be at the same level as losing JSN.
I can't win sometimes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Go Hawks

And don't forget that they need to "Take care of my family." I mean, that's a few millions right there. And Lambos are expensive! I can feel a tear welling up in my eye right now!
We need to take a closer look at ourselves and try to be honest. Are we just upset because we aren’t members of an entourage?

Can't blame a guy for trying to get that bag. However, he is a massive part of a SB team, his teammates clearly love him, etc.
Def. a huge decision on his part. If Charbs wasn't out until probably mid-season, it would be a lot easier to let the guy go.
Not that Charbs is or ever will be a true #1, but that one two punch was very effective.

This bit of news could affect the Walker situation a tad :

Not happy at all about it, but it's starting to feel more and more like we're gonna lose our K9. John isn't going to pay a RB $13-14 mil, but if anyone can find a diamond in the rough, it's John.

Yeah, anything over 10 or 11 per, move on. Again, can't blame a guy for wanting the biggest contract he can get. IF that's what he's looking for. And why wouldn't he be?
That being said, I've spent the last few years hearing people often acting like the dude is average, hurt every game, can't do this, can't do that, blah blah blah.

So, some will get their wish. Though I can't imagine anyone being happy if they lose K9.
And don't twist it, I do NOT want them paying a RB 12 or more mil a year. Nope.
