Most running backs don't stay healthy getting the vast majority of the carries all year. That's why hardly anyone does that anymore.
Agreed . Very few old school dudes. Many of the better teams have 2-3 capable backs , the season is too brutal. It's also why they don't get top FA money like a WR, CB or DEThey just don't make RBs like they used to, it's sad.
Like I said they don't make them like they used to, it's devalued the RB spotMost running backs don't stay healthy getting the vast majority of the carries all year. That's why hardly anyone does that anymore.
Sorry, I basically said the same thing you did, I caught it after.Agreed . Very few old school dudes. Many of the better teams have 2-3 capable backs , the season is too brutal. It's also why they don't get top FA money like a WR, CB or DE
A $20 million cap raise only means another $300/ticket for season ticket holders. If I can help another underpaid NFL player make a few million more and avoid starvation, I'm happy to do so.The cap goes up most years.

Charbs may not be on the field till October to December, also he won't be close to his pre injury form till the following season most likely.Minimal worries?
The obvious “worry” is, can he stay on the field after we pay him.
I love the guy, and respect what he’s done recently.
Fact is his history suggests paying him top dollar is a gamble.
We’re going to have Charbs coming back, RBs will be available late in the draft.
Hmmmm
We have needs, every million counts.
The thing about gambling is, sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t
Not an argument, I just don’t believe it’s as cut n dried as some suggest.

I didn't realize it was that serious - that really sucks.
So we need another downhill runner. By the time it's our turn in the first round, all RBs could be available other than Jeremiyah Love, who will definitely be gone. I bet JS has his eyes on someone that others aren't putting enough value on.
Maybe this guy.. we could probably get him in with a late round pick.I didn't realize it was that serious - that really sucks.

Totally. Shaheed should not be going anywhere.Would love to have K9 back at the right price. If I had a choice, I would rather keep Shaheed. You can find capable RB's in the draft for a fraction of the money. Just my take.
And don't forget that they need to "Take care of my family." I mean, that's a few millions right there. And Lambos are expensive! I can feel a tear welling up in my eye right now!A $20 million cap raise only means another $300/ticket for season ticket holders. Don't want him, 8 years in the league his best is behind him, Garrison from Pittsburgh may be better, or a draft pick if we are worried about Money.hearing David MOntgomery is available for a 5th.. 6 million... damn, we don't have a 5th.
Are you a season ticket holder? Its getting very expensiveThat's the spirit.![]()
