I haven't watched many games this year. They are bad. But to get 2 top 10 protected 1sts and a 2nd is a steal for Gourde and Bjorkstrand. I like them but not irreplaceable.

I think that first year may have got expectation too high, especially the playoff run. Vegas took advantage of some loopholes to get good immediately that the league closed for the Kraken.
This maybe be closer to the trajectory for an expansion franchise.

I don't really have a favourite MHL team but due to some of the guys on the team, developing a soft spot for the Kraken. Evans remains in close contact with close friends of mine who he stayed with in his junior career. Always been an Eberle fan. Jessica Campbell is from my home province. Don't know if he'll make it one day but another friend of mine's nephew who's having a good WHL career is also a Kraken draft pick.
